Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Were gonna get killed on the boards the rest of the year. We have to shoot better to have any chance past the first round of the tournament.

I missed the game due to the US/Canada game. Did I see that stat right? 44-16 on rebounds? What the fuck? Regardless you guys should be ok. Finishing with us and Penn St should be two wins.

Penn St is starting to play a little better so who knows.

Near the end of the first half, Bade made a decent fake and then blew the bunny. That and the missed throws made me think a W was unlikely today. We did play good perimeter D the entire game. Didn't give hardly any open looks.

This game was pretty much what I expected. Without #4, we just aren't as good as a team like MSU.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Which is depressing, because MSU is not good this year.

The top three teams (currently) in the big ten are 0-5 at home while playing each other, We lost to OSU, and MSU at home.
OSU lost to us.
MSU lost to both Purdue and OSU.

I miss Hummel.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

It became clear yesterday that Hummel is the glue for this team. We are a very good(borderline great) team with him. We are a mediocre team without him. Hopefully we can win the last two games and get a share of the big ten title. Otherwise this season will be all for nothing. Very very fursterating.

I think you guys are jumping to the worst possible conclusion a bit too prematurely. It takes time for the team dynamics to adjust to our new reality.

Second that. We are not going to be the same team, but that does not mean we are going to be a bad team.

I still miss Hummel.

I hope we can pull it together but I don't see it happening. I thought we looked awful yesterday. The defense played pretty well but it seemed like everytime they missed they got the rebound. The offense looked disorganized and stagnant. Our best offense was getting a turnover. If Michigan State would have done a better job of taking care of the ball they would have killed us.

He gave us the double face palm.

Personally, I was doing more of the punch myself in the face.
