Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I need to just pick a hockey team and start following them. I mean I have no reason to like or dislike any team, so I might just blindly point o a map and pick the team that is closest.

lol..

you could always just go with Chicago's team since you like the Cubs? I love me some soccer and I just watch it to enjoy it. I want to pick a favorite squad but I just can't. I have sort of adopted the Seattle Sounders as my MLS squad though.

When i'm in situations like that, I usually pick a team that's slightly worse than average because I like watching teams develop. But, if you want to watch really, really good hockey right now, watch the Blackhawks or the Caps. In fact, if you become a Caps fan right now, you can say you followed a team when they had the greatest hockey player to ever live on the roster. Alex Ovechkin is en route to break every single Gretsky record in the books. And, believe me, that pisses off Canada more than anything.

I refuse to like any other chicago team other than the Cubs. No offense to anybody from Chicago or from "The Region," but I can't stand most Chicago fans. My roommate last year was from "The Region," and I found an extreme hatred from how loud and obnoxious all of them were. The Region people can suck my balls.

I did my little experiment. You can now call me a Philadelphia Flyers fan!

You know i really enjoy watching soccer, but i don't really follow any team, and in all honesty, i don't know that i have ever sat down and watched a MLS game. Fronm what i understand thought the quality of play is going u a lot. I may have to tune in.
I have really enjoyed ESPN's coverage of the English premier league on weekend morning.

By the way for soccer fans, go to this site USA World Cup and sign a petition to help the US's bid for the 2018/2022 world cup.

I am a 5-6 hour drive from 3 of the cities included in the US bidding, so i shouldn't have any problem going to see a game or two, and hopefully have the US squad end up in a pool one of those cities.

Indy has already been chosen to be a host city. If USA gets the bid, World Cup soccer will be played in Indianapolis!!!

Screw you guys. Little Rock was made it to the last round of cuts on the cities, but obviously, didn't make it all the way. Man i was excited when i heard they might get some games. Oh well, like i said Kansas City, Nashville, and Dallas are all within convienient driving distance. Plus, my bro-in-law's fiance has a sister that lives in KC, so i might could get a place to stay for free.
