Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Indy has already been chosen to be a host city. If USA gets the bid, World Cup soccer will be played in Indianapolis!!!
woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Screw you guys. Little Rock was made it to the last round of cuts on the cities, but obviously, didn't make it all the way. Man i was excited when i heard they might get some games. Oh well, like i said Kansas City, Nashville, and Dallas are all within convienient driving distance. Plus, my bro-in-law's fiance has a sister that lives in KC, so i might could get a place to stay for free.
Lucas Oil Stadium >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anything in little rock

haha. i won't be living in indiana by 2018/2022 probably, but i'll have to come back to take in those games!
No doubt - which is why they got the games. i think the only reason LR was being considered was this area is really big into youth soccer - North Little Rock has hosted both the regional and national U.S youth soccer championships - and because Arkansans are willing to plop down money to watch an event even if they aren't necessarily fans of it, just becuase said event chose to come here. The SEC womens B-ball championship that was held here a few years back is a perfect example of that.

just curious what kind of stadium would LR have held it in? would they have built a new one or is there an existing stadium that would work?

it probably would have been Arkansas' football stadium I would think.

Yeah, I doubt I will be in Indiana by 2018/2022, but if it is in the U.S. I will be going to as many games as possible.

War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. It has been here since 1949. It was renovated and expanded during the early 2000's. Will fit a little more than 70,000. Seating is a bit cramped, but you have a good view of the field from anywhere in the house.

it has nothing to do with hockey. It was patriotism at its finest. I don't watch hockey at all, but by god I was cheering them on. I have to say though, after watching hockey during the Olympics, has definitely prompted me to start watching some NHL on occasions.
before i read the rest of this thread....

I refuse to like any other chicago team other than the Cubs. No offense to anybody from Chicago or from "The Region," but I can't stand most Chicago fans. My roommate last year was from "The Region," and I found an extreme hatred from how loud and obnoxious all of them were. The Region people can suck my balls.

I did my little experiment. You can now call me a Philadelphia Flyers fan!
Bump.

This turned out to be a pretty good pick haha!
