Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i don't think it'd be a smart move for JJ to stay. but, that's just me...

br
Why would anyone say in February that they planned to leave after the season?

why? he probably wouldn't get drafted after this year. this is a pretty deep draft, especially with young, athletic talent. JJ is best off staying one more year, proving that he can bulk up and battle down low, and then taking a shot at the draft..

They wouldn't.

They would deflect the question if they were planning to leave.

I really don't think you would say you were planning to stay if that was not your intention at the time.

"That's what it looks like right now for me, coming back to school."

That doesn't sound like an "I will definitely be back" statement. They may very well be back...I'm just saying I have heard lots of kids say during the season they would 100% definitely be back and then end up going.

I'm just saying while the statements were encouraging that they would be back, it's by no means a gaurantee.

If Johnson comes back for his senior year, and Purdue puts together a Final Four run, he has a shot at low to mid first round. This years draft has a lot of big men. Also like I said earlier in the thread I'm sure Johnson and Moore now feel they'll have some unfinished business to address once Hummels back on the court.

We all know how that worked out

Good nasty, or "having sex with a fat chick who stopped shaving her legs and pits because she wanted to become closer to mother nature" nasty?

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed
