Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

So what is the song or video that you all can't get enough of right now???

This could be fun....

For me it's "The Man I want to Be" by Chris Young (no Bieber here).

What is your current song?

I don't have one in particular but the albums I've been listening to a lot are "Sky Blue Sky" by Wilco and "The Good Life" by Railroad Earth. Its been a really tough couple months for me and they're both pretty mellow albums which has been a little therapeutic.

I really don't get to stay too up to date on the latest music. I did hear about a new Brand New song out that I am currently enjoying.

Older Brand New. Song reminds of the movie White Squall.

One more. Also older Brand New. Love this song about a boy being pressured into having sex for the first time. Very clever lyrics.

Brand New is awesome. Deja Entendu is one of my favorite albums.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

A little bit older song, but one you may not have heard.

Been really listening to some Johnny Cash lately. He is one of the legends of rock and roll. so sad that he dies within the past decade along with June Carter Cash. R.I. P.

This is one of the top 5 videos of all time in my opinion. You can say that he covered this song, but he honestly made this song his. He was truly a genius. I wish he, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins were still kicking it.

Call me old school, but this is the music I love. I hope you all enjoy this music video. It is one of the defining and best videos of all time.

Also, just a ridiculous coincidence, the Cash/ June Carter household burned down after the both of them died in 2003. I found that to be oddly strange.

Sorry, but Elvis and Johnny Cash are my heroes. I know a lot of you don't give a rat's ass about them, but they are my idols and I hope that everybody, including the younger generation can experience their greatness.

Yeah but it puts the NIN's to shame. Kind of like Hendrix's cover of "All along the watchtower" pretty much makes that his song now. It vastly superior to any other version of that song.

Yeah I know it is a cover. Hence why I said he made it his. Trent Reznor is on record saying that he was pissed off at first, but he was completely moved once he saw this video and that it was Johnny's song.

My music taste has been swinging into more of an alt-rock/indie direction lately.

I'm absolutely loving The Hush Sounds right now. "Lighthouse" is probably my current favorite.
