Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Does anyone on our side really want to play NW again? I am betting Indy on Friday night would be something else with an IU/PU matchup.

I'm really pulling for IU. NW scares the crap out of me. They always play us well, and really killed us on the boards last time we played.

Although if we play NW and beat them, then we'd have beat every team we've played so far this year, which would be a cool feat. But I feel more comfortable playing against IU. Plus, you are correct, Indy would be pretty neat that night.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I hadn't thought about that. We would get a chance to beat every other team at least once if we played NW. I am still pulling for IU.

Easy vote. IU, hands down. I'm with DC in that NW scares me. IU is a cakewalk. I believe I estimated a 274 million point victory over them if we see them again.

You guys lost to NW and abused IU twice so I don't think there's really a question..

Abused IU once. And narrowly escaped once.

3 point victory on the rode was just abusive I guess.

Must have been one of the games he decided not to watch as he got down on the team this year.

Yeah, that was weird.

I like our odds against IU, but they are definitely capable of beating a Hummel-less Purdue squad. Heck, IU nearly beat Purdue with Hummel.

After going down 61-66 if it weren't for Jordan Hulls Purdue would have taken a freight train straight to the jugular.

While I can totally see Bobobinc's point of not wanting to play IU in Indy, I'd still choose them over NW any day of the week.

Purple Kitties have beaten us twice in a row.

I voted NW just because it would be awesome to beat every team we played this year (as stated before). Also, I don't want IU pulling down our RPI anymore :boxing: . We are already considered "out" of the picture for the 4th #1 seed.

If you read peeeeegs..............and you shouldn't, IU is BACK BABY......on a one game winning streak.

I just think this game would be IU's Super Bowl and they would be ready to play. As ridiculous as the peegsters are, if this team feels good about themselves they could really give us a problem. The new rotation worked pretty well against NW.

Plus I really don't want to listen to all the shit that would flow our way.

I agree that NW gives us fits.
