Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Bobo, I've got a crush on Kara from American Idol. It's widespread knowledge that I don't discriminate based on age. If they're DTF, then they're DTF.

Anyways, get your ass off this board, put Ben to bed, and release some frustration my friend :)

Maker....it's almost inconceivable how spending a night at your ex's wedding could be better than anything imaginable, but after today's game, I now understand.
I would have thought the same, but when I checked the score on my phone at the beginning of the reception and saw 32-4 (or some such insanity), I decided to stay until at least the end of the game. It was atrocious, but better than this shitty game!

if something isn't working you can change it and do you know any plays to get an open shot?
Yes, he should install some new plays that Purdue has never practiced :sarcasm:

Its not the plays, its the execution.
Never said anything about a new play. But considering Painter seems to only consistently run one set play then yeah I guess he would have to come up with something new. My point is how can Purdue not get ANY open looks?
Our outside shots aren't falling and they are collapsing on our drives and JJ. That's pretty much why. With #4 on the floor, they wouldn't have that extra defender in lane. That'd help tremendously.
First of all this team has never consistently knocked down outside shots so why do you keep counting on that? So if Minny is shutting this down why not try something else? Instead Purdue continues to jack up shots and then wonder why they aren't going in. Also Purdue just got lucky that Cobbs got that tech.
What else were we going to try?

We're shorthanded. No threat of an outside game means they'll pack it in, and when we go in there, we're going to have contested looks all game long. What are we supposed to do?

When we have no good looks inside, then we decide to shoot outside with Jackson, Kramer, Barlow, and Grant. Then people decide to get further mad at them for shooting outside.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

It's pointless to argue with you and especially on this game. If you think Purdue did everything they could to win or even compete in this game then to each his own.

We're a very limited team at this point. And Minnesota exploited that (just like Michigan State did two weekends ago).

Drive the ball, set some screens, and cut. Just about anything else besides dribbling around or standing there watching Moore and Johnson jack up shots. Help these guys get open. There was very little productive movement on offense yesterday.
