Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

But since Hummel's injury, we have played two games vs. NCAA teams. The result? 86 points in 80 minutes...giving up 122 points in the meantime. If you count the game at Minny, it's 119 points in 107 minutes, while giving up 166.

I'd like to think of it as a coincindence, but I think it's time to prepare for the worst this coming Thurs/Fri. I will support this team all the way to the end just as much as anyone, but I am feeling growing concerns about our player development at Purdue. Grant, Smith, Byrd, Barlow, Bade were all brought in to be better players than they are now.

Here's to hoping they prove me wrong...

What do you mean, Vision, Byrd had a monster game? :P

Wow, the team seriously sucked ass today. We are now at the mercy of the selection committee, and I wouldn't be surprised if we fall to a #4.

The bottom line is that Purdue had only two quality big men, and that's counting Hummel as a power forward when he's a more natural wing. Hummel had the ability to score inside or outside, so there is a double whammy of having on less shooter (after Moore) and one less presence inside (after Johnson).
