Really good 13 seed. Just one year it would be nice to get a favorable 1st round matchup. |

We did get one of the weaker brackets, not that we're going to able to take advantage of it IMO. Kansas and Kentucky got the two toughest brackets. Duke gets the 3rd seed in the tourney. |

It's all pretty eh. Not an awful draw, not the best either. Going 3 time zones over sucks though. If there's a #1 seed I think we have a chance against, it'd have to be Duke though. |

I have a sinking feeling we may be bounced in the first round. |

We will bounce back after that bad game in the BTT. Siena is going to get a dose of some serious D from us. Just hope Smooge and KG can find the iron. BTFU |

Damn. With this bracket and Hummel my FF prediction would have been signed, sealed and delivered. |

The guy picked last in gym class
|
Siena is light on bigs...only one guy taller than 6'6" that gets significant time. Their leading scorer and second leading rebounder is a 6'5", 226 pound banger named Alex Franklin. He's strictly an inside player and I assume that Kramer is going to draw him on defense...that probably will be the key. |

Everyone on tv and on espn radio is picking us to go out 1st round. I know we played like shit against Minny but come on, do you guys think we will get beat by Siena? They are good, yes, but so are we. This is still a good team and I haven't lost faith yet. |

I would not be shocked one bit if Siena beat us. Fact is, we're just an okay team at this point. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Its the NCAA tournament, but we are still a good team. I think we should win this game by 10+ points. |

What have we done since the injury that proves we are still a good team? Beat 2 of the worst teams in the conference and a fading NIT team? I like our guys, but Rob made the whole thing go. He's our best shooter, best rebounder, and losing that 4 man in the motion offense that does it inside and out is a killer. |

If anybody is still wondering why the loss of Robbie hurts this team so bad look at the box score for the Minnesota game. Of the 13 players who got in the game we played 1 center, 1 forward and 11 guards. 11 guards! I wonder if Painter considered taking Sandi off of redshirt after Hummel went down just to have another big body. He can't be much worse than Bade. The good news about Siena is they don't have a true center. Looking ahead Texas A&M doesn't have a true center either. Siena hasn't beaten anybody of note all year and I doubt they have seen a defense as good as ours. The question is can we score enough points to win the game. Hopefully sombody can step up and make some shots. |

Man there is way too much negativity for me... I cant wait until tip off Friday afternoon! Purdue is a better team than Siena even without Robbie and nobody can convince me otherwise. They just need to go out and show it and I think they will. |
