Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

OK ESPN sportswriters... REALLY?

"After Holmes' last miss, Kramer pounded his massive, football-player-sized chest. The former high school safety and star quarterback from Huntington, Ind., better known as the two-time Big Ten defensive player of the year, then got pounded from in front and behind by his giddy teammates."

COME ON
AWESOME

I just knew in the last poss in overtime it was going to be Kramer. The 2nd half this guy just played like a guy that didnt want his career to end and was not going to be denied a trip to the sweet 16. Had a couple a key steals, locked down whoever he was guarding. We are really gonna miss this guy next year.

Kramer is one of my top 5 Boiler BB players of all time. We are really going to miss him. I think on a positive note that Byrd could be the next Kramer.

Did you see him tonight? He's pretty F'ing strong for a frosh, plays great D and has a really smooth shot. I knew Painter knows what he is doing and recruited the right guy in Byrd. Growing pains yes, but he is starting to blossom-watch out!

Byrd erased an entire season of doubt in one game. He's no Hart, but it's going to be fun watching him develop.

Who would have thought Kramer would take the shot ?

Very smart on Matt's part. Totally unexpected, Kramer drives and finishes as well as anyone on the team, and he shoots free throws well.

Freakin' brilliant !!!!!!
I was honestly thinking the whole time Moore dribbled the ball up top before regulation was over that Kramer was the best scoring option for Purdue in these moments. Moore just can't handle the ball under pressure and they are going to swarm him. Kramer can get to the basket when he wants and is a pretty good finisher. If nothing else he seems to get lucky and throw in some garbage quite a bit.

I'm going to be honest I was being an idiot here but it never felt so good to be one. This team has just been frustrating this year with the ups and downs but I should've learned by now that they have some huge hearts on that team cough Kramer. Hopefully they can fight, scratch, and claw out a win against Duke because the only way this team can win is the ugly way.

here's to representing the big ten! Remember, Wisconsin beat Duke, and you all beat Wisconsin, so I can definitely see you guys beating the Dookies.

BTW, general question to the Purdue population, since I will be in WL on Friday night, what bars should I go to if Purdue wins, cuz I am sure it will be crazy.

Harry's probably will be the craziest.

Jake's is also a safe bet.

I get to talk shit to the Dukies down here all week.

Then I'll hide 'cause we'll probably get killed.
Do this to them:

I'm not going to lie and say that I hope Purdue wins a title....and I'd say most Purdue fans would never pull for IU to. But beat the heck out of Duke.

Turns out the play was supposed to go to Moore.

I think the defense of Texas A&M player led Kramer to change the play, and it was a good decision on his part.

Here's the play....guy gaurding Kramer was Walkup. Really not sure why A&M had him in at that point. He looked like he was halfway committing himself to doubling on Johnson and Kramer recognized that.

Yeah you can see Johnson didn't even know what was going on. He turned and saw Kramer halfway down the lane and immediately rushed in for the rebound. It looked like he was setting a screen for Moore. You can see Moore start to come around the screen when he sees Kramer taking it himself. He then stops running the play. I don't think the play was for Kramer to take it to the rim. Simply great instincts and intelligent basketball from a senior leader.
