Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Well I know part of the time you guys just like giving me a hard time, but I really do believe that you think I知 a loser for liking Taylor Swift.

I would consider me and my friends to all be pretty cool people, and I bet 2/3 of my friends really like her. It's really not that uncommon of a thing around here. I remember going to house parties in college and it was guaranteed that many Taylor songs would come on by the end of the night.

People my age around here just like her for whatever reason. You should respect our individual tastes!

I think we found our problem. I'm not going to like something or someone just because I think it makes me look more manly. I just like what I like. Hell, I've wrangled some snooch on conversations started with talking about Taylor Swift.

And like I said before, I got to meet her, which always makes you like them a little more.

I guess the question would be what do you like? Is it the beat, the voice or the lyrics?

I don't really care what music you like, so I don't mean to pile on, but guys play music like that at parties so girls want to come and dance...

Yeah I realize that but I've been to the same guy's houses or in their cars and they were listening to it as well.

Well I think anytime you start liking an artist it's because of the voice, at least in the music I listen to. And then things get added to that that make you like them more.

I'm not smitten by the lyrics, but I think it's incredible someone that young writes virtually all of her own music, even if a lot of the songs are built around the same premise.

I also love country music and always root for country music singers, and I think it's awesome how one of our own is the most popular singer in the world right now.

I also like the fact that's a good role model for kids like my nieces that like her. She doesn't dress/act like a whore and she always makes time for her fans.

Also, for the most part I like slower paced music that can actually be sung along to, and most of her music is that way. Also part of the reason I like singers like Keith Urban, Carrie, Eric Church, and Luke Bryan.

Those kind of guys play it so the guys around them will dance with them.
