Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Last year was the first season I had ever watched, so I was actually pretty pumped for this one to get under way.

However, after 2 or 3 seasons, I could definitely see how it would get stale.

I've watched it from day one and still do. Not tired of it at all. When you get to know all the personalities it keeps it fresh.

Crazy motherfuckers.

Yeah they are....can't wait for next week's show.

Did you know that Captail Phil Harris passed away earlier this year Bobo? Wasn't on the boat, believe heart complications or something along those lines.

He had blood clots last year that forced him to miss the season. Doctors said back then he could have easily died.

He was a very likable old bear. His two sons work on his boat, actually they swapped Jakes with the Northwestern this year. They took his death pretty hard.

Yeah I watched all of last year and the new episode this year. Pretty neat how they traded them out. I think the Northwestern's original Jason is the better fisherman, but they both seem to be pretty good workers.

Is that show on every Tuesday throughout the season?

A former student of mine goes on boats like that...but he's not part of the fishing crew. He's a marine biologist and is simply doing tests.

I think you're correct Mr. Bobo. I was just being juvenile in my last statement ;)

Fucking a

It is all hype. Half those guys are felons and have no respect for authority. I entered the Bearing for the first time in Nov 1992. Fuck those guys 80% are shady fucks that would stab u in the back in a heartbeat. Dutch Harbor is a great place to get ur ass kicked. Plus everything there is way over priced. They stopped letting us pull into Port there because of the fights.
Nothing beats an Astronaut
