Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

You guys know that these guys can return to school if they don't sign with an agent.

This isn't etched in stone yet.

yeah i know that, i'm pretty sure everyone else does too. it's not exactly common for a player to declare and then come back, and since hayward is a sophomore it makes it all the more likely that he'll stay in.

i'm sorry, but i'm really disappointed with gordon. thought he was maybe an intelligent guy. he's got no business playing in the nba next year...though i could see europe.

in short though, he needs to return to school.

i'm telling you guys, if he's on the draft board when the pacers choose in the lottery i would be stunned if they didn't pick him.

that is if the pacers are still playing in indy. heh.

He will quickly realize that he is not a first round pick and will withdraw his name.

The thing is every mock draft you look has him around the 20th pick in the draft. Chad Ford has him a mid-to late first rounder.

Could be much higher after another year in college.

a player like him runs the risk of drastically falling in the draft. i can see the situation from both sides for him. it seems like he has other interests besides basketball, but at the same time i don't think his stock is going to get much higher.

A kid like him needs to take the money while he can. Seems like a smart kid with a good family. I bet the kid finishes his degree in the offseason(s). Get a check and start your "real" life in a few years. It's a no brainer, imo.

yeah finishing your degree can be done at anytime. kevin durant left texas after his freshman year but he has been taking summer school at UT to finish up his degree..
