Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Oh yeah, and why hasn't the Hayward insider who knows the family informed us of his intentions in regard to the NBA?

Me thinks he has no connection and makes shit up.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

or it could be he hasnt decided.

oddly you comment on that now.

you totally ignored me when i stated his grandfather and grandmothers names. their occupations

his 2 uncles in texas. their names, occupations, and owning a bar

and honestly. you think i will get the phone call when he declares his intentions?

complete moron

and to add. his grandfather is gordon senior. he is very good friends with Eugene Daniels. remember toast? he got us playoff tickets to the kansas city and pittsburg games back in 95. just to add.

go ahead and look up that info. since you are such a purdue insider and they recruited, only for him to turn them away because of playing time, this info should come easy for you

what argument were you trying to make?
that bandwagon fans can spoil the experiences of a loyal fan base? i don't know if you're a colts fan or not, but if you are how fun was it to see everyone and their brother wearing a peyton manning jersey after 2006 when you agonized through many 3-13 seasons?
you are right

when i go to games, i go up to every fan and say "were you here back in the 3-13 seasons?"

if they say yes, then my experience of going to that game is ruined

another turdue fan upset that butler gave their fans something purdue cant
last i checked purdue has been to final fours. last i checked purdue has facilities that would rape butler's. last i checked purdue offers an education superior to butler's. last i checked purdue played competition superior to butler.

what has butler given its fans that purdue hasn't? whatever that means..
hinkle is superior to keadys cheating court

1980 was a good year. nice final four. no final game. i know you arent old enough to remember. maybe you can as bri on your next date night,

how are the laker fans doing again?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1969_NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Basketball_Tournament#Final_Four

not sure what 1969 has to do with 1980

but congrats on being UCLAs sacrificial lamb

This thread is brutal...people point out the obvious (Butler's bandwagon fans) and other people get upset. Stop nitpicking percentages and open up your eyes. Is it a bad thing for Butler that people supported them? Nope. I know a lot of people that just supported them because they are an Indy team, but I also know people who jumped on the bandwagon full-steam like they had been Butler fans for years. It always happens when any team wins. Even the Colts. Get over it.

Are you refering to the ONE 3-13 season you agonized thru? Give it a rest. Just because every fan can't make every game does not mean they are not fans. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. And how in the hell do you know when people bought their Manning jerseys and how often they wear them? You sound like a moron who believes he is the teams only real fan.....get over yourself. I've been a Colts fan since their move to Indy and have only made 3 games in person, I guess I'm not a fan in your book, huh?
ok, so you're obviously a dedicated follower. i've been to every game since i was born (besides the point), i can remember when the stadium was either empty, or mostly filled with jets/packers/dolphins fans. now, where do you think all the extra colts fans came from? and why did the season ticket waiting list suddenly spike?

my definition of a bandwagon fan is someone who never gave a rats about the team or their performance until they perform well.

also, the colts have had three 3-13 seasons since moving to indianapolis, and many more below or hovering around that same mark.
You've been to EVERY game since birth? Even away games?

You sir, are the Colts only true fan. Congrats!

I merely was pointing out that about 75% of the people who had butler fever in march/april won't buy a single butler ticket next season, have no clue about what type of class is coming in, and won't even follow the team.
Could be true, but using your random number, 74% wouldn't buy a ticket if Hayward came back anyways. They only cheered because it was a local underdog going up against one of the best programs in the history of the sport.
sir bri = king of generalizations and random %'s that he has absolutely no proof of
Do you have the numbers to back up that he is the king of generalizations, or were you just throwing out a broad definition?

Does "imo" fix it for you, professor? Notice that I used no numbers or percentages?

there's no such thing as a butler bandwaggoner. they have a bigger fanbase than every IN college. the hype about their tourney run was no different than the hype they've had all season. what was i thinking...

So, in your mind, being nationally ranked all season and having like 4 losses, was no hype? Many analyst stated that they were legit all season long. What were you watching all season?

No, actually. Every analyst railed them in November and December when they lost most of their marquee matchups and went into 2010 at 9-4. But that's okay, no one expects you to know what you're talking about anyways.
