Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Yeah, Camby on OKC would be scary.

Taj Gibson.........that's right. He's not great, but he has been impressive at times this season.

Of course, everything could change this summer...........and how can you stop that shot by Durant? Artest all over him and he drills it from the foul line.

the scary part is Durant just turned 21 and his ceiling is seemingly limitless.

If he or Lebron develop any sort of post game like Kobe did this year or Jordan did later in this career, it'll be downright impossible to defend either.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

i love it when people diss the NBA playoffs because it means either:

1) they don't appreciate good basketball
2) they haven't watched in a long time
or
3) they don't understand basketball

You can pretty much put most people in all 3 categories.

Kobe is really good, but he's not even as half as good as he thinks he is.

"playoffs" would be the operative word.

maybe if 70 percent of the guys didn't spend the last 6 months pissing me off with their bullshit approach to the game then i could get a bit more excited about actually seeing some more basketball.

best nba season in recent history was that strike shortened one.

and on an aside...the blazers taking oden over durant is going to go down in history as another sam bowie pick...

Yeah, and he even blew an easy dunk. Once again, LA gets a lead and then get bored and relax. Even Barkley is calling them out.......and I agree with him about OKC's future as long as they keep their nucleus together......not sure about CHI though, maybe if they would have kept Salmons and traded Deng and Hinrich for a real shooting guard to compliment Rose. I like their frontcourt with Noah and ...........crap.......what's that rookies name........ Noah is a better version of Anderson Varejao and Jared Jeffries love child.
OKC owns a few picks in this draft's first round so they'll likely move one for a veteran big guy. at that point OKC might be the team to beat.

Taj Gibson
As Bill Simmons has written, they should have robbed LAC for Camby.
he's ours.

Watching game 4 of PORT/PHX.........PORT did a good job of controlling tempo in the 1st half, but now that they are making shots they are getting lured into a faster paced game.........sometimes it's hard to recognize fools gold.

Nothing like a sport where the playoffs last over 2 months. How exciting.

I dont follow the NBA at all during the regular season, but the last couple years Ive gotten back into watching the playoffs a little bit. I think its because of some of the interesting subplots. It was cool when the Hornets as an 8 beat the 1 seeded Mavs two years ago, last year I enjoyed the Magic in the playoffs, and this year there are some news faces like the Bobcats and Thunder. I dont know, I like the post-season in most sports.

It was the Warriors who beat the Mavs.

My bad thats right. That was 06-07. Two years ago the Hornets did beat the Mavs but they were the higher seed.
