Phil Jackson? Is that you? Say whatever you want, OK is younger and way more athletic than the Lakers are and they actually play team ball. It is actually refreshing to watch. They play more like a college team than an NBA team. Fuck LA and the rapist/chronic lip licker Kobe. It's about time they were knocked down a peg or two. Kobe saying that he was controlling the game just how he wanted to in the 1st quarter is fucking laughable! If being down double-digits is what he wanted, then he did a GREAT job. LMAO! Kobe is a coddled punk! Jackson complaining that Durant is treated like a superstar? Guess what Phil, HE IS A FUCKING SUPERSTAR! No different than all the calls Kobe has gotten over the years. Give me a fucking break, what a cry-baby mother fucker. |

Hoosier Daddy?!

Kobe fouled a 3-point shooter twice last night. That is the absolute dumbest foul you can give up, and a verteran superstar did it twice. |

OKC built their lead at the foul line. I flipped over during the 3rd quarter and the difference in attempts was something like 28 to 13. I didn't see the game, but I find it hard to believe a team with so many interior players like LAL would be getting outshot from the line like that. How about SA taking a 3-1 lead over DAL?......George Hill pretty much carried them last night, and I have a really hard time seeing SA losing 3 straight. Hopefully Utah closes out DEN...........I hate thug teams. MIA's win over BOS was a fluke. Wade went nuts from 3 in the 4th quarter and Ray Allen missed 3 consecutive free throws in crunch time. I'm sure the game being on the line had nothing to do with one of the greatest shooters in the last 30 years missing 3 straight.....nope, free throws are the same no matter when they are attempted during a game.....pressure means nothing. I will now go run a few laps in honor of SirCrampsAlot. |

Are you saying OKC is getting a ridiculous amount of favorable calls to keep the series going?......Are you trying to say that the NBA has a vested interest in getting more exposure for a team from OK that has a bunch of young talent, including the next NBA phenom?......Nooooooooooo, they would never do that. How dare you suggest anything like that. There is absolutely no chance that CLE and LAL will get favorable officiating on their way to the Finals. That's the matchup most want to see, and it's the matchup that will bring in the most money..........and unless CLE shoots horribly in that series, there is no way the refs will let them lose or at the very least go 7 games. |

You obviously didn't watch the game as you stated. LA looks very old and wore out in this series. OKC plays with more energy and were just driving past the LA "defenders" to get to the rim. LA was having to grab guys to keep them from going to the basket. LA cannot guard OKC's athleticism and youth. The ONLY way LA wins this is with help from the refs. Why do you think Phil took the two $35,000 dollar hits from the league? He was trying to plant the seed. He knows. Artest can't guard Durant and Fischer has no chance guarding Westbrook. On an even playing field (no help from refs), OKC wins this series....NO DOUBT! |

I've watched every game except for game 4. I agree that Fisher can't guard Westbrook. To say LA can't beat OKC without help from the refs is retarded. They have too big of an advantage inside not to be getting guys like Aldridge into foul trouble. Artest has done just fine on the scoring champ except for 1 game. Shannon Brown is the only guy who might be able to stay with Westbrook. If I was LA, I would go big with Kobe/Odom/Artest/Gasol/Bynum and pound OKC inside while putting Kobe on Westbrook. I don't think Phil will do that, he will just back off of Westbrook and not double Durant. Force Durant to beat them by himself and Westbrook to hit jumpers. This gets rid of the free throw issues and takes away cheap baskets. LA will still win this in 6...maybe 7. |

So, after proving they can get to the rim, hit foul shots, and beat LA in the transition game, now OKC is gonna settle for jump shots? And to be perfectly honest, I dont think Kobe can guard Westbrook. These kids have some confidence now, they are not going to back down from the Lakers. LA may win this series but not by playing the way they did in game 4. OKC wants it and LA is showing their age. Thats what I saw anyway. Maybe they can put Luke Walton on Durant? :sarcasm:  It is eating Phil alive, you can see it on the sideline. LA doesn't have the fire that this young team does. Phil acting like Durant ISN'T a superstar is what is retarded and foolish. P.S. Artest sucks! Edited by IUCOLTFAN, Apr 26 2010, 02:55 PM.

that's my favorite part of the series. when Phil Jackson said, "Durant gets calls like a superstar". Breaking news Phil, DURANT IS A SUPERSTAR! I can't for three years from now when Kobe finally realizes that he's old. |

You don't have to be overly quick to play transition defense. You have to have good floor balance. LA is getting caught taking too many jumpers which leads to long rebounds which leads to more run outs. They are getting to the rim because LA is playing the non-shooters too tight. Fisher or whoever guards Westbrook will start to sag off, and LA will pack it in the paint. If OKC hits jumpers to beat them, then they deserve it. It's dumb to continually play tight defense 26 feet away from the basket against a quicker player whose strong suit is taking it to the basket. Phil will make adjustments. |

Go Tebow!

I think it was Gottlieb that said he didn't think the Thunder would win, but at the end of the series you would look at them and think that they were a team that is going to be reckoned with in the future. Westbrook gets in the lane as about as good as anyone in the league, and Durant owns the mid range to perimeter. They are one legitimate big guy away from being a really, really outstanding team. And they're sooooo young. They're going to be fun to watch for some time to come. |
