I'd go to sleep if I was you too........looks like I've hit everything squarely on the head unless ATL folds against ORL tonight. By settling for jump shot after jump shot instead of pounding the ball with Horford, ATL has once again blown a golden opportunity. Edited by Evilempire, May 6 2010, 09:35 PM.

Damn you, how dare you jinx my team. You don't understand what I've been through as a PHX fan. Horace Grant has an easy putback to send it to OT in game 6, but he kicks it out to Paxson for a 3 and PHX loses 99-98. PHX is up 3-1 on HOU and then HOU goes nuts from 3 point range and beats them in 7. Kevin Johnson tears up his leg while jumping in celebration after a regular season win. Joe Johnson breaks his eye, then leaves. Amare's knee Nash gets a facial wound against SA that inept trainers can't get to stop bleeding for several minutes, PHX goes on to lose the game and the series. Nash gets hip checked out of bounds by Horry, Stoudemire and Diaw go over to check on him and end up getting suspended for leaving the bench area. The Duncan 3 I could go on, but I'll just stop there. Bill Simmons wrote a nice piece on it today. I actually emailed him this morning to see if he noticed the karma from PHX not tanking their last game to get a better matchup on paper. As a PHX fan, I am still scared to death of SA. PHX has played 1 bad quarter so far, and has had to make a lot of big plays to win home games...........I would love to see a PHX/CLE Finals, so CLE could go small and play a fast paced game. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if either of those teams can make it. With LeBron being hurt, I don't know if CLE can score enough to keep up with ORL. |

Portland Blazers will win a playoff series next year. Book it. Well, as long as we don't deal with the injury bug as harshly as we did this year, we will be dominant. Fucking Oden.... |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Howard is not very good offensively. Most of his points come from lobs and putbacks because he is simply bigger and stronger than most interior players. Howard actually hit free throws last night, even though he didn't deserve to be shooting a lot of them. Horford is a solid defender. Howard got away with multiple offensive fouls in the 1st half last night. On the other end of the floor, Horford can take Howard out 15-18 feet from the basket. ATL just stopped going to him last night and settled for too many jump shots. Keep watching the highlights instead of the entire game. |

Wow, I was playing Wii Sports with my daughter and missed the 1st half......CLE up 20+?........LeBron with 28 at halftime......it appears the rumors of CLE's demise were exaggerated. |

CLE better quit fouling........BOS is more than capable of going on a quick 12-0 run to cut this lead in half before the 4th quarter. Nevermind, apparently BOS doesn't want to even try to play defense. Edited by Evilempire, May 7 2010, 07:50 PM.

It's official, ATL's season is over. The players are already thinking about vacation plans, Josh Smith is trying to get ejected early, and Joe Johnson has disappeared more than Houdini. This team will be blown up in the offseason, and Mike Woodson will be fired within a week. |

I met Joe Johnson once. Nice guy - really good ball player. It is a shame he decided not to show up for this series. |
