Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

i think it would be great to add 3..make an even 14.

Mizzio, UCONN, norte dame, and Mauquette. any three of the four would make sence to me.

if mizzou and nebraska bolt what the hell is the big 12 going to do? that northern division already kinda sucked for football...it would really suck if these programs left. at the very least they'd have to realign. but i imagine they'd go for some former swc schools or what not before long to get back to 12.
TCU and Arkansas would be my guess as to who they would go after.

Arkansas has been rumored to be moving to the Big 12 forever. Not sure why Arkansas would want to leave the SEC though.
Arkansas was once in the SWC

They are natural rivals with Ok and Texas

If only one Big 12 schools moves to the Big 10 er 12 then I think TCU makes the jump.
I know that Arkansas has classic rivalries with OU and Texas. That isn't a good enough reason to leave the SEC though. And I just can't see OU and Texas leaving the Big 12 either unless it looks like there is going to be a mass migration and they are just getting out while they can.

Nope, we're just talking football. And for that reason, you're right on Marquette. I'm still not willing to let my dreams of Syracuse making the jump die though. If they really want the NY market, 'Cuse is a much better pull. Maybe they could even get some kind of incentive to get their football program out of the shitter.

is syracuse's football program any worse than IU's? i know IU has other sports that possibly redeem the fact that our football program is awful (cough soccer) but Syracuse's isn't THAT much worse..

I mean... Donovan McNabb went to Syracuse...

Just saying... there isn't much competition being added in regards to football.

Maker,

let me interpret I speak Kentucky pothead hillbilly. TMazing is trying to say that this will affect all sports at these schools. That is true. Marquette does not have a football program so they can't join. What Tmazing Kentucky pothead Hillbilly misses is the driving force and only force on getting to 12 teams is for a football championship game. NCAA rules state in order to have a football conf champ game a conf must have a min of 12 teams.

lol at Hillbilly.

Awesome, so with your logic... just add in ANY team to satisfy that criteria of 12??

You're a fuckin tool.

Rutgers would be a better fit than Cuse. I don't see Cuse leaving the Big Least.
Hell, even UConn would be a better choice than that.
