Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Silva is much worse. WHIP of 1.00. Much rather have Bradley. :sarcasm:

Then there's that Byrnes dude. You have to try to HIT the ball on a suicide. Don't wait 'till it's in the catcher's glove. :wtf:

Pure comedy.

The guy has been an ass his whole career...but it's not exactly the biggest secret in the world that the guy has had mental issues. He's not going to get any sympathy from fans around the league because of how he has acted before....and when he comes back they are going to be brutal.

Honestly, guys with mental issues like Khalil Greene (who has severe social anxiety and it is believe he may have intentionally slammed his car trunk on his hand while in San Diego so he could go on the DL) and Bradley become the brunt of jokes. It is good to see that he is at least going to get some help....the truth is he might be better off just getting out of baseball altogether, at least for a while to get better.

Never should have left Texas. He was good. Small market. No major problems. Only place he ever even mildly succeeded both on the field and in his personal life, but he had to go and chase the money. I'll be happy when Milton Bradley retires and is no longer a topic for baseball.

If you don't count going after the Rangers television analyst for talking about his past behaviors, getting restrained by the coach and the GM, and then returning to the clubhouse where he alternately yelled at his teamed and cried.

In terms of small market, he's blown up in small markets as well as large.....Cleveland, LA, Oakland, and San Diego were all places where he blew up. If he had stayed in Texas, I am sure he would have worn out his welcome there as well.

"He's a beautiful man, with a beautiful heart."

Obviously the most hated man in baseball, especially by his teammates.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Fixed that for you.

Never claimed he wasn't insane. He's just not the most hated player like some claimed.

I don't know of anyone that said he was the most hated player in baseball. I know I said the Cubs hated him and that it was likely the majority of baseball followers hate him as well. Not sure how you would prove who the most hated player in baseball is anyways. Stupid thing to argue.

if we were a contending team then i might care. It sucks not seeing him out on the field, but it could be worse...we could have silva (a guy that physically threatened Ichiro).

And who do you presume the "most hated" player in all of baseball to be?

I guess some could say Derek Jeter. I'm not a huge fan of him, but I acknowledge his greatness and accomplishments.

Milton Bradley is definitely up there for most hated. He's a team killer.

And not ONCE, not ONE time has he said anything is HIS fault. MB is a pussy. He can't own up to his mistakes. Any team that goes out of their way to acquire him is taking very desperate measures. (See Seattle)

he's said multiple times this year that his actions are his fault because he takes it a little too seriously when he's not succeeding. when he's playing well, he's not going to be having meltdowns. honestly, with this team, it'd take something huge to rip the clubhouse apart. if anything, he'll end up isolating himself, not dividing a clubhouse...unlike silva who basically ripped this team apart.

i'm glad that he's working out over in chicago cuz seattle definitely wasn't the place for him.

Agreed. I don't think he's ever divided a clubhouse. Because everyone in the clubhouse is on the same side and it's not his.

Problem is, he definitely has meltdowns even when he's playing well. See his short stint in San Diego.
