Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The Raiders FINALLY released JaMarcus Russell!!!

headbang2

I hope Jason Campbell has a shot at making something out of nothing there. Not like Darren McFadden and Michael Bush in the backfield isn't good company to assist with...

All's we need now is for Al Davis to croak!

Sorry... recruiting info just wasn't seeming to cut it here the past couple days. Just restatements of stuff we've already known for the past week.

I'm happy as hell now. Well, as I can be. The Raiders, granted, are still going to suck. But I have some faith in that defense. Loved the Rolando McClain pickup at LB. I just hope they start turning it around soon.

They should be better. If nothing else, their defense should keep them in games. Really if they can get some blocking they will be ok. They have a couple good RB and campbell while not spectacular is solid.

Campbell isn't going to have as much talent around him in OAK compared to WASH, so I expect him to struggle. Also, it seems like whenever I see him in the final 2 minutes of a close game he looks like he has no idea what to do....he speeds up and looks like he is panicking. That said, Zach Miller should catch close to 100 balls if he stays healthy....Campbell will throw the 7 yard pass on 3rd and 12 all game long.

They have a chance to have the worst consecutive string of first round picks ever.

Michael Huff #7 overall - almost released in 2009, lost his starting job, very short leash
JaMarcus Russel #1 overall - released
Darren McFadden #4 overall - injuries and poor play, now on a short leash
Darius Heyward-Bey - #7 overall - obviously still young, but had more drops than catches last year

If I was a Raiders fan, I wouldn't thank god until Davis is no longer the owner. (I must admit I was a bandwagon fan in 2000-03 when I lived in the Bay Area.)

Naaa, you were just a local fan who got behind their team. There is no such thing as a bandwagon fan.

I started following them on their flagship radio station, The Ticket ten-fitty. At first it was out of a sense of morbid curiosity, and then when Gruden came and Gannon started playing like a vet on a mission, it was difficult not to root for them. And everybody liked Timmy Brown, the consummate NFL receiver loaded with class.

unless it's butler or the colts he might still be a bandwagon fan..

if he was a butler or colts fan when they reached their peaks, he is not one though.

I've said that the day Davis passes to a better place ... is the day Raider nation rejoices.

That's a cruel thing to say... but damn if isn't true lol.

My mom's a huge Colts fan, so I had no guilt jumping on that wagon. The SuperBowl was a tough call for me last year. I honestly didn't know who I'd be cheering for. Once the game started, it was clear that my love for Black and Gold runs deeper than a QB, who as Evil put it, "chokes more than a porn star."
