No Branden Dawson. Lots of in-state 2013 talent playing well. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

He's been blowing up the AAU circuit so far this year. From the vids I've seen, he's REALLY long and kind of reminds me of a much, much more athletic version of Verdell (in terms of length). He's not the 2011 PG we've been looking for, but he may be too good of an offensive talent to discriminate. We've been on him for a while. Visited IU back in September for a football game. There's a new interview with him up on Inside the Hall. According to him, he has an offer and is "very high on IU." Rivals' (not Peegs) take on his King James Classic performances a few weeks ago
King James: Saturday Sounds like he could be a pretty good player. Edited by Badger, May 15 2010, 04:38 PM.

So a JUCO project was a better option than this kid?.........or is Crean sharpening his ax for his next victim? |

If IU signs him for the 2012 class, does that still leave room for the 3 names I've seen floating around that are allegedly a package deal? |

Yes! According to the scholarship grid, we would have 4 scholarships available. Also, I believe we also have the oversign, which could run us to 5. I bet Crean uses the oversign for 2011. Even though I wanted a much higher JUCO, getting a JUCO to fill that spot allowed for the opportunity to have 4 available for that class. Anyone care to make a prediction on that class? |

Well we'll need a new horrible foreign JuCo to continue the tradition, plus an average 3-star recruit, a four-star recruit, and we'll not use the remaining. |

DSR, Kaminski, and a juco and you may be on the money, although DSR will probably debut as a top 25 guy with a good chance to stay there. |

If DSR goes to Xavier, I honestly think it'd be the end of the Crean era at IU. With that said, it still seems like he's an IU guy at this point. |
