Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Tell you what, I won't post on the Braves' board either, just to make you happy.

And I know you love you some US soccer, just razzing you a bit.

Whatever happened to Freddy Adu? I remember when he first came up as 14 year old. Everyone saying he was the greatest thing ever. He's done nothing as far as I'm aware, but he must only be about 20, so I guess he's still got some time.

From what i understand he just missed the cut. Could be wrong about that though.

I have to say that i am really pumped for the World Cup this year. I don't follow euro football as much as some on here, but i enjoy watching the English league and love the World Cup. During the last Cup i was sitting in a hospital while my then 6 week old daughter had, then recovered from heart surgery, so needless to say i was focused on things other than the World Cup.
As a result, it feels like ages for me since the last one, and so i am extra pumped this time around. It also helps that i actaully expect the US to make it out of pool play this time around.

yeah, and sebastian telfair was the next prodigy too. adu got pegged too early as the next pele, and honestly he's a solid player, but he'll never live up to the hype that surrounded him at the start of his career. the US has a much deeper talent pool than it used to.

my only thing against US World Cup Futbol is the shitttttttttttty TV announcers. It sucks the life out of spectacular goals. I wish we could get a Brit or South American to come in and take the mic for us.

ESPN signed Martin Tyler and Andy Gray to do World Cup coverage this year. Problem solved.
