Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

The rest of the world uses the metric system...do you talk about how many miles you traveled?

We're not the rest of the world.

if i'm talking about USMNT, IU Soccer, or MLS I call it soccer, if i'm talking about the EPL or any other international football i call it "football". to me "American" Football will always play second fiddle to the real football so it's whatever.

i really only watch the colts, so whenever i talk about it i just call it a colts game? i don't know. honestly (you can call me un-american) but i really truly don't enjoy american football outside of the colts. it's fun to watch, but if i didn't have a hometown team i probably would barely watch.

I can understand calling it that when referencing the Euro leagues. But I don't get why people call American soccer futbol.

Whatever happened to Freddy Adu? I remember when he first came up as 14 year old. Everyone saying he was the greatest thing ever. He's done nothing as far as I'm aware, but he must only be about 20, so I guess he's still got some time.
to expand further on adu, he's very capable (and one of the best in the country if not the world) at producing amazing eye opening moments on the pitch, but he doesn't pay attention to a lot of the smaller details of the game. once he finds his footing with a good club and starts to learn more of the fundamentals he has the chance to be quite good. if he ever does get an opportunity to play good minutes with the USMNT he will be a fan favorite because his ability to produce those "wow" moments.
