Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

no the connection with AHOPE was made before Jobe. for one it's based out of Bloomington; for two it's run by Mark Adams, father of Drew Adams who is IU's DOBO and DOVO.

i know it's on the court skills that are paramount in the end...but the two most recent interviews over at ITH are night and day IMO...davis sounds like a kid who has 'a lot' to learn...while i was modestly impressed with the irvin kid.

also thought the thomas kid sounded good as well...not that any of this is really worth shite...but anyway...

and does anybody else think kaminski just screams the prototypical bo ryan recruit?

he's an interesting prospect. some people have him really really low on the rankings totem pole, but one rivals guys i saw said he was in his top 10 for the class of 2011. really unusual. i'm not sold on him just from the standpoint that he limits our ability to recruit indiana kids -- but if you can play basketball well who the hell cares where you're from?

You can get a nice sense of his offensive skill set and athleticism here:

(all these clips are from the same game)
Aaron Thomas- King James Classic

Apparently he tore it up at the Adidas May Classic in Bloomington last weekend too (22 ppg in 3 games). I fully expect this kid to skyrocket up the rankings this summer.

i've seen those videos. no question that he's very good with the basketball in his hands, but when he doesn't have the ball he becomes an on-looker. no movement, and he's not looking to get the basketball or open up his teammates. you can tell that he's a late bloomer for sure.

Stay positive, Btown. Negativity is like cancer, it spreads.

on the bright side, this kid is clearly a huge improvement over carlino. i hear that thomas is super interested in butler though, so we'll have to hope they don't win him over with their awesomeness.

-IU was one of the first high majors to show interest. Visited last fall for a football game.
-Quoted last weekend as saying his interest in IU is "very high." Bloomington "felt like home."
-Wore IU gear during warmups at the AMC

How's that for positive thoughts? :D

If Crean is canned, is Brad Stephens option #1 at this point?
