Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Man, I was posting a link (ISO) to a really cool game for people to download if they wanted, only to find out it's been taken off the server. (a friend of mine had it posted). I had everything posted only to click on the link and find out it's dead.

But anyway, It's a 4 player co op modern warfare simulation called Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. Very cool, the levels are very well done and thought out. Huge maps and missions, house to house combat, night missions, open field combat, etc. If anyone is interested, you can grab the ISO from www.piratebay.org. You will need a program called Magic Disk to mount the image. Just mount the image and install. After install, open up the drive the image is mounted on and copy the contents of the crack folder to your game directory.

If anyone wants to check it out or needs help installing, just give me a shout.

If you guys get it, let me know. I've played with a couple of people and it's one of the coolest war games I've played. The file is a little over 4 GB, but well worth the wait.

Here are the PC requirements:

Minimum requirement
Operating system: Windows XP SP2 or later
GPU: DirectX 9.0c GPU: Shader 3.0 (GeForce 7900 GT / 256 MB VRAM or higher)
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
1 GB Memory: 1 GB
8 GB Hard disk: 8 GB
CPU: Dual Core CPU 2 x 2.4 GHz
DVD-ROM DVD drive: Dual Layer DVD-ROM

Recommended System
Operating system: Windows XP SP2 or later
GPU: Shader 3.0 (GeForce 8800 GT / 512 MB VRAM or higher), DirectX 9.0c
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
Memory: 2 GB
Hard disk: 8 GB
CPU: Quad Core CPU
DVD drive: Dual Layer DVD-ROM

I have an average system, runs like butter on my PC.

I don't know anything about Macs, but I wouldn't think it matters, would it? As long as it's the PC version, I would think it would work.

But as far as I know, it's just available on PC, Xbox360, and the PS3.
