Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

His injury wasn't a long-term career effector. It seems that he COULD have played at the end of last season but TC did the right move by resting him in a lost season.

People need to remember that a healthy Mo Creek last year would have made IU a 15 win team...no doubt about it. We aren't going to contend next year, but it's going to be a lot more exciting and fun to watch this team...

Mo Creek - What else needs to be said?
VJ3 - Coming off a great year.
Elston - Another year of development and weight training
Watford - Expect him to add another 10-15 lbs.
Capo - Another year of coordination and strength.

I know we aren't used to having a team go 2 years deep into our program as of late, but it'll be fun to see the improvement as a whole. We're going to keep getting better because these guys aren't in a situation where they'll be going pro prematurely.

I can't wait till the season starts.

I read somewhere Mo' thinks he is about 60% right now. He is doing a minimum of 4 hours of physical rehab each day. This includes 3 hours of weights and 1 hour court time. In addition he has been putting on a weighted vest and running the stairs in assembly hall top to bottom 5 times each and every day.

I am thinking I need to break my knee. I am fairly certain I can not run the stairs 5 times a day and he now has an unfair advantage. ^o)

I found the article:.. http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20100512/SPORTS04/5120445/Indiana-s-Maurice-Creek-gets-closer-to-return

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed

How is more time going to give Capo more coordination? Unless you're three years old, I don't think coordination is something you can pick up over time. You've either got it or you don't.

Thanks for the article eelbor, nice read.

Here is something I picked out of the article that Crean will never say about Pritchard:

The progress has been music to the ears of IU coach Tom Crean.

“Maurice has been terrific in the way he has approached his rehab and getting ready for next season,” Crean said. “I think it tells you a lot about the individual when you see how hard he has worked and how committed he has been to getting healthy again.”
