Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I know there was already a thread but DIO deserves two. This guy was insanely talented and released some groundbreaking stuff for his time.

One of my favorites:

Well, I am privileged to say that I was asked by the forces of Seattle to play bass in the Dio tribute band next month. This is pretty big for me since I've been out of this scene for so long. The show is going to be amazing and the singer we have is an old friend of mine that looks exactly like Dio.

WOOOOOO!!!!!

I kind of like the "all fools sailed away" idea. It'd be a good song 4 during the set.

A bass player? I always assumed you were lead vocals, haha.

Bri, have you ever drove between Vancouver and Seattle? Google maps seems to think it's only a 2.5 hour drive, but I'd be curious if getting across the border makes it take a lot longer.

i've made that drive tons of times. i'd say it's about 3 hours from seattle overall considering normal traffic and if the border is clear. It really doesn't take too long to cross the border unless it's a friday and nice weather.

YES!

Underappreciated song.

And the hidden meaning is in the last four lines.
