Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

So I was poking around and I found this scouting report on Bawa from his senior year of HS..

Quote:

A man-child inside. He is powerful around the rim and has a great body. People tend to come at him and bounce off when he is attacking. He is a good shot blocker and rebounds well. A lot of his points come off other people's misses.

High school scouting reports are shaky at-best, but it led me to believe that maybe he's not a lost cause. From what I've seen personally (very limited given constraints in PT last year, seriously the most people have seen from him is warmups) he's quite nimble/agile for a 7' guy, and he's all-muscle in the upper body. i also know that he is a very bright kid, don't know how that will translate to the basketball floor but i can only imagine good things.

my point is it's possible crean held him out of heavy competition to keep his confidence up. if he can add a bit more bulk, some confidence, and actually learn something from our big-man coach i think he might have some kind of future. it's weird because (i don't know if i speak for everyone) i always forget about him when thinking about our team in the future. maybe we counted him out too soon..
