Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

My favorite play was when JC Navarro stiff-armed Chauncey Billups and got an and-one to make it a one point game for the Spanish.

ESPN now showing the LLWS over the USA vs Spain game. Seriously ESPN, just shoot yourself in the face.
They showed USA/Spain live on ESPN3.com.

Kevin Durant blocked two consecutive three point shots in the last six seconds as USA holds on 86-85.
Tough shit for anyone who doesn't get ESPN3 I guess. Why not show the game and tape delay the LLWS? That is uber stupid.
ESPN3.com is free online.

Not sure what you mean by 'Westbrook has no chance'.....were you trying to say 'Westbrook has no chance or being cut'?
Westbrook has no chance to make the team over a healthy Gordon/Curry.
Unfortunately, he did. Your and mine opinion of Westbrook wasn't being taken into consideration....and from almost every report I had heard from guys who were around the coaching staff, Westbrook was in and either Curry or Gordon was going to be out.
Really?....I didn't think they were going to cut anyone until early in the week. With limited bigs, Euro teams are going to zone these guys to death to avoid guard penetration. They need 3 point shooting, not another slasher like Westbrook....although he has been playing well recently(haven't seen stats on todays game other than Durants 25 and multiple blocks at the end).
They had to get down to 12 players before the world championships.

Not if you have Timewarner cable, the 2nd largest cable provider in the country.

Really? How can they block it? Anyway, I've been on directV for years and would never go back to cable.

Anyway, in terms of the twelve man roster, they haven't officially cut to twelve yet. Don't know how much Curry played today, but yesterday against Lithuiania Westbrook played very well (4 of 5 from the field, hit both his threes and played 16 minutes) as Gordon played decently. Curry only played three minutes in garbage time as he rests his ankle. Gotta think he's gone for the world championships.

I think each ISP has to pay for the service, and Timewarner won't do it. My cousin has Timewarner out in NC.

Coach K said before the game that Granger and Rondo were vets and he needed to get a look at the other guys more. Gordon getting only two minutes is strange....have to think that signals they already have their mind made up whether he is on the team or not. Did Curry play?

If Curry is healthy, I'd take him over Gordon, but I also think Gordon would fit better over Westbrook. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Pretty much what I said all along. Doesn't matter, Rondo withdrew.

Shocked that Rondo withdrew....I hadn't heard anyone saying he was on the bubble. Coach K had said before the game against Spain that he knew what the veterans were capable of and wanted to see more of the younger guys...
