Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Geez. For $100 mil I would think you could just build a brand new stadium.
Quite true, but Makey does have a nice historic feel about it and I think they wanted to keep that. It's a rather unique arena with the raised floor and the old fashioned metal ceiling. It just has that classic warm basketball feeling to it, I don't know how to describe it but I'm glad we aren't starting from scratch.
Plus it has all of the fond memories of many IU beat-downs. :P
But no men's basketball NCAA Championship banners!!!!!
fazpyr
At least you have a good sense of humor Lars!!! :chug:
I expect IU to be good enough this season, so we can start giving you crap without feeling guilty about it!

I agree and expect it.

We have been down! It makes it hard when you see a person that you don't like lying on the floor and you don't want to kick him while he is down. Same goes for IU and Purdue. You guys have been up and will remain up under Painter and I think we are on our way up. It will take us longer than you guys turned it around, but we should finally see an above .500 winning percentage and possibly a 7th place finish in the B10.

Here is to the rivaly finally returning.
