Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

That was a very good game. To beat VT in Blacksburg is not an easy feat.
The game wasn't in Blacksburg. It was at the Ravens' stadium.

False. FedEx Field is the Redskins' stadium.

It was at the Redskins' stadium actually.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

Hell of a game. I don't really think they should have called that late hit penalty on VT, the guy was barely out of bounds, and though he had stepped out a yard or two back, he was still running as if he hadn't. Either way, Boise probably would have scored, but still they got a free 10 to 12 yards there.
Also, Musberger and Herbie kinda put the blame on that scoring play on the safety, but really, it was the corners fault. As the receiver comes out of motion and the play starts, the corner comes up to bump the receiver and then drops back into an outside zone, except he barely touches the receiver on the bump and the receiver doesn't even break stride. Had he actually gotten a good bump on the guy he might have disrupted the timing just enough to throw off the play, or at least allow the safety to be in a better position to make a play on the ball.

Game certainly lived up to its hype. I'm really happy for Boise State and hope they finally get the shot to compete for a BCS National Championship. They have become one of my favorite college football teams to watch.

The VaTech jerseys are sick up close. The number design (colors filling) shows the VT logo in a sequence that represents a computers motherboard, as VaTech is known for tech/computer engineering. The Pro Combat jerseys this season are sick as hell. TCU's is my favorite. A lot of detail in the horned frog design. I guess you'd have to be a fan of the team to care for it that much, but I for one as an unbiased source think they're pretty badass.

Note: IU's new uni's aren't too bad either for a change.

Boise plays hard man, did you guys watch that? They are ferocious tackling and on special teams. Everyone always talks about their offense, and rightfully so, but I think the defense is the special part of that team. Wow.

In your defense, the Navy vs. Maryland game was played at the Raven's stadium. They were going to play the game at Maryland, but there were too many suicide/homicide threats after the basketball team lost the 3 star recruit to Purdue yesterday.
