Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

So he is a freshman that has yet to play a High school game and committed.

ESPN has him as the #1 ranked SG and 4th overall in the 2014 class.

Sounds like if he keeps his commitment, IU just landed a mega recruit.

Woah. I'll temper my expectations after the Carlino deal, but this is nice to hear.

he was really highly sought after, but as with any early commit you don't know how it'll end up. i don't think anyone expected him to commit tonight, but it's certainly showing that people are willing to come to IU.

Although I know absolutely nothing about him, that sounds pretty awesome!

BG, is that jealousy I smell?

I know its happening more and more, but i am not a fan of recruiting kids that young. Lots of what ifs could happen between now and then.

Yeah, until he is a senior in high school and says he is coming to IU, then I will believe him.

Video of him over on ITH. Smooth looking jumpshot for a kid that age, that's for sure. Doesn't look overly explosive, but he is just 14.

Ditto. I am glad he committed but after the Carlino commitment/decommitment anything can happen that far out. But like Btown stated, it certainly shows top recruits are interested in coming to IU.

I thought everyone said that Crean couldn't land big names because nobody wanted to come to IU anymore?...I don't think 16 wins in 2 seasons convinced kids that Crean is a great coach. So, as I've stated from day 1, Crean should have been patient because kids will come to IU......because it's freaking IU.
