I vote for Pickettfence vs. AaronK because I want to rip him for not making any moves so far and he has an incomplete team. |

That's what the matchup of the week will be. I'll break it down position by position, like I did last year........unless you meant something else. |

that's cool too. I was thinking game by game predictions. Not necessarily player by player, but just who will win each game and if you are up to it, why. |

QB-BTown has Schaub at home against the IND defense. Schaub had a monster season last year, and will need to light it up to keep pace with IND. SirCrampsALot is starting Orton at JAX over Favre. Neither QB has much in the way of receiving weapons, although I like Favre's much more. Risky start in my opinion as Favre should be much better early in the season. Edge-Btown RB-Btown is rolling out AP at NO and Ronnie Brown at BUFF. Both guys should get a lot of touches and score very well in week 1. Cramp has Ryan Mathews at KC and Pierre Thomas against the tough MINN defense. KC now has Romeo as their D coordinator, which is a huge plus.....however, their defense wasn't all that good last season. Edge-Btown by a lot. WR-Here is where Cramp closes the gap. Btown has Marshall at BUFF, who actually played decent against the pass last season. Bowe at home versus KC, and Jacoby Jones against IND. Jacoby should get a lot of return chances, and that's about the only positive thing i can think of for Btown's WRs. Cramp has AJohnson against IND, the original Steve Smith at NYG, and.......Hakeem Nicks? 2 out of 3 aint bad, and in this case it's better than what Btown has. Edge-Midol TE-Btown has Cooley against Dallas. He should be McNabb's new best friend. Winslow against CLE is a solid matchup as well. Edge-Even K-not wasting anyones time. Btown has IND, Cramp has NE. IDP-Btown has Rodgers Cromartie at STL, Session and Bethea vs HOU, Adrian Wilson vs STL, Ellis vs BAL and Pat Williams vs NO.....the obvious weak spot on Btowns team. Crampy has Bradie James at WASH, Posluszny against MIA....2 LBs going against running offenses. Josh Wilson at NYJ and some guy named Javier Arenas against SD. At DL he has Keisel against ATL and Wilfork against CIN. Cramp definitely has the advantage here. Overall-I think this week is going to go in favor of the Cramp. Andre Johnson will negate some of what Schaub does, and NO will probably dare MINN to throw the ball. I don't trust Mathews, but I don't trust the KC defense either. This one might be close till MNF, then it will turn into a comfortable win. Cramp 217 Btown 206. |
