Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

How badly is this guy going to dominate IU in 3 weeks?

He could have 1000+ rushing yards after the IU game. Michigan's next 3 games are against UMASS, Bowling Green, and IU.

He looked good, but I think (just like last year) that neither Michigan nor Notre Dame are as good as they think they are.

ND played some piss poor defense in the second half. Had the safety been where he should have, there wouldn't have been a 60+ yard run for a TD.

He is a beast though. But a QB should be focused more on getting others yards than himself. We'll see how "heady" Robinson is against SMART teams with smart defensive scheme's.

He threw for 244 yards. I think he did just fine getting others involved

Did you actually watch the game, or just see the highlights?

first, the long run for a TD came in the 2nd quarter, and ND's defense played MUCH better in the second half than they did the 1st. 1st half, roughly 285 yards and 21 points given up. 2nd half roughly 230 yards and 7 points, and not much in the way of big plays given up.

Apparently he was trying to work on his sleeping problems during the game, if you know what I mean

Negative. I watched only the second half. ND's defense still looked like shit on the big plays. Good teams don't give up those big plays. Penn State if Michigan plays them, will show them what defense is. Ohio State / Wisconsin, the same.

I think Kelly's first year also plays a factor... idc what you Gomer haters have to say. He has a sound offense but the defense has some apparent holes.

"Limiting" an opponent to 230 yards in the second half isn't exactly clamping down.

No, but the second half was clearly much better than the first.

What exactly are you calling a big play? The longest play for Michigan in the second half was 19 yards. The longest run was for 12 yards. They only had 3 plays in the second half that were 15 yards or longer.

I am not saying that they were great because they weren't, and they have to get better, but I'll take giving up 7 points in the second half all day long.
