Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

DSR has de-committed from X. interesting move here. It'll be interesting to hear what's caused this. heck of a player.
I just posted this about the same time as you, probably a tad later than you though. Sorry for the repeat, but I do think that needs a thread of its own.

DSR and Yogi don't see eye to eye, let's say. i believe that DSR and patterson are pretty good friends.
Okay, I knew it was one of the 2012 recruits.

That's right. Yogi and DSR are the one's who don't see eye-to-eye. And I'm glad Patterson dislikes Teague because it's an Hoosier hating a Wildcat.

Plain and simple, I don't see DSR coming to IU.

He seemed like a cocky, "me first" type of player in his interviews. I do not want him dawning the Hoosier uniform. Not with all the progress coach Crean has made in building a team/foundation with character guys.

He just won the 4A state title as the 2nd player, hard to see him as a cocky me first player.

He won't go to IU because of a lack of mutual interest. Once IU got Ferrell, DSR was not going to IU.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

as of right now I'd be kinda surprised if he didn't go to Louisville.

IU got the better guy, Purdue was done with him early. Good riddance. He'll go out of state and do well, but he doesn't fit with current IU commits or Purdue's style.

DSR is a hell of a player who, I think, is very envious of some of the AAU guys he plays with. I don't blame him for wanting something better than X, but he won't get what he wants in the long term.

besides the fact that Yogi fits in better with IU, DSR looking into Ro McLeod's prep school was the last straw for Crean.
