Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Dan Dakich seems to think that DSR and Gary Harris will be coming to IU. interesante. not surprising on one account, very surprising on the other.

Not surprising as in a ploy to get ratings?

Wow, that would be a loaded back court....would it not?

He also thinks Hollowel is going to Purdue when he doesn't have an offer.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

I can't see Hollowel playing in Painter's system. Painter stresses defense and hard play, and Hollowel is known for playing without intensity sometimes. I bet he ends up going out of state.

People said the same thing about Kelsey Barlow in HS. I won't consider him a chance until we offer, but I'm thinking Painter is the type of coach that can bring effort out of a player.

When did you hear that? I listen to his show quite a bit and I never heard it. That will be a lot of good guards, but how will they get playing time. Also, I would rather have Hollowell than DSR because I think he fits a need for that class. I have heard that Hollowell plays harder than what people give him credit for. I actually think he would fit in better than DSR too. If Hollowell does decide to go to Purdue, I think Painter will be able to bring out the player that everyone expects him to be. This guy is long and athletic and I just think he would fit in more at IU and I will fill more of a need than DSR would.

Just my opinion. ;)
