Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think my favorite part of the decision is that the Zellers trusted IU enough to send one of their kids here. Look, the situation here three offseasons ago was not a good one as we all know. The Zellers didn't feel good about sending Tyler to IU. It just shows how much Crean and Glass have changed the culture at Indiana.

butler fans pulling a cleveland "we'll be better off without him". haha. one poster said "he may never play in an NCAA tournament". i guess i don't understand the IU hate from Butler fans. My guess is that a good portion of the people who jumped on the Butler bandwagon last season were IU fans.

oh well.

Oh, brother. Those so-called "fans" were never around to support this rising program and are now claiming to be superior than IU after their team made a cinderella run to the championship last season. I always cheer for Butler mostly because I have family that went there. And I sure as hell was cheering for Butler before that miraculous run to the title game last year, unlike the majority of their current fans. Man, I can't stand bandwagon jumpers.

let's just say I trust this coach to take us to the second round a little more. Looking back on it, it's pretty wild. Up until February 19th or whatever IU was a legit top 10 team, if not better. After Feb. 19th, probably not even a tournament team. When all but 3 or 4 players completely fold up their tents you might as well call it a season.

I don't think that was a top 10 team.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

they had just molested #9 MSU without DJ White, and were subsequently ranked in the top 10. that was 2007 not even worth arguing. my point was it was night and day.

That's probably why you are a bartender and not a basketball analyst....
