Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I think one of the best things about the Zeller commitment is that it gives Crean and even firmer foothold for recruiting in the state of Indiana. In the 2011 and 2012 classes there are a combined 11 four and five star recruits (according to Scout). Tom Crean has landed 4 of them so far and a Yogi commit would make it 5.

There are 0 going to Purdue, Butler and Notre Dame COMBINED.

There are 2 going to Xavier. 1 to MSU and 1 to Kentucky. MSU stands a good chance of landing another with Gary Harris.

Also important, is 0 committed to Ohio State, who was absolutely killing us in Indiana.

This isn't to say IU owns the state or will own the state forever or anything like that, but it sure is nice to see top Indiana kids coming back to IU. One can only hope that this trend continues.

Amen to that. Denim shirt seems soooo far removed right now.

btw.. Yogi could very well be a Hoosier this time tomorrow. That might be a long shot, but I suspect before the end of this calendar year he will have committed.

btw. We're obviously done with 2011, and we should be done pillaging 2012 pretty soon too. Will leave Crean a ton of time to full out blitz 2013 and 2014..

Raphael Davis is a 4* and going to Purdue.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I think Scout has him as a 3*.

"Liberal, shmiberal. That should be a new word. Shmiberal: one who is assumed liberal, just because he's a professional whiner in the newspaper. If you'll read the subtext for many of those old strips, you'll find the heart of an old-fashioned Libertarian. And I'd be a Libertarian, if they weren't all a bunch of tax-dodging professional whiners." - Berkeley Breathed
