someone sent this along to me from GBI, I don't know what to say but that I'm absolutely in love with this post.

I don't get the attraction to IU quite frankly by these recruits the last few weeks.
I know they have history, but what have they accomplished the last 20 years? They made a George Mason-like fluke run to the final four in 2002 when they knocked out Duke by shooting lights out, but other than that, they have been a non-factor over that time period.
I personally think their coach is a buffoon and I have seen no concrete evidence that he can coach a structured offense that is necessary to be successful in the Big Ten (this is not a Big East, roll-out the basketball and let them play league). I won't even mention the lack of D played at IU.
I don't see any of his players getting better during his two years at IU and quite frankly, I thought his team quit on him last year midway through the Big 10 season. I just don't see why people would want to play for him.
Just my two cents....blast away.

Raphael Davis is a 4* and going to Purdue.
I think Scout has him as a 3*.
Should have known he would use those rankings. It'll be awkward for Purdue losing the state but still winning with 80% of it's roster being from Indiana.
Painter much like Keady, recruiting a bunch of rumdumb, no-name, pig farmers that nobody has ever heard of. Only good recruiting class that he has to put a stamp on is the class of the century that was suppose to bring you your first National Championship. Where has his top notch recruiting been lately.? He got that class when Samscum was putting us in a deep hole with sanctions and Davis lost the state before him. Crean has made up ground fast. :goiu: DC, I use to like you but your jealousy has really taken its tole on me. Go back to your side and stay off our side, unless you can start being civil.
Dedicated, I can now that you have signed a player the gloves are off. I am all for it and will be here when IU falls often this season. OH and this class Purdue has Terone Johnson. He was Mr Basketball runner up. Anthony Johnson is a stud. Purdue 2010 > Iu 2010 class Maybe IU has a better 2011 class. Purdue is a top program for years to come. IU has 16 wins in two years. Glad since u landed Zeller we can stop feeling sorry for IU BG,
You can do what you want, but this is the IU side and I only responded to CAM's obvious jealousy.

...it is indeed a great day to be a Hoosier fan...after crawling through that shit for the past few years, i do believe we are beginning to smell the roses... Damn, all I did was watch us lose a lot the last two years. You're more dedicated than me.

When you feel the the smallest slight, you lash out. That paragraph shows your true colors and puts you in a select few of Purdue haters on this board. Once again you show your basketball ignorance. You've never heard of them because they're not mentioned on your beloved ITH. I'll bet Anthony Johnson has never seen a pig before.
With the way the rivalry is shaping up, you'll know more than you want to about our players in the years ahead.

With the way the rivalry is shaping up, you'll know more than you want to about our players in the years ahead. Moronic, I have been watching basketball longer than you have. Just because I don't who those players are doesn't mean am ignorant about basketball. I maybe a little narrow minded when it comes to IU basketball news and information (hence the name dedicatedIUfan) and not up to date on any Purdue info.
Just to let you know, my niece and nephew are Purdue fans and I do cheer for them and other B10 teams when it comes to the NCAA tournament, unless they are playing IU. ;) Plus I was always a Gene Keady fan and I like Painter as a coach.
Cam tone sounded a bit jealous and, IMO, he tends to go down that road. I know it is just words and the disadvantage to these message boards is that you see anybody's body language or eye contact.
Just because I don't go on the Purdue side and that I don't follow their recruits, doesn't mean I totally hate Purdue nor doesn't mean I am ignorant to basketball.

His absence is pretty freaking funny. Very convenient timing. He's either really pissed that the future is looking bright for IU under Crean (further evidence he's not even an Indiana fan) or he's tucked tail and isn't man enough to admit that he was wrong.
