Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Actually, IU fans I'm sorry I was drawn into a troll war in a topic about a good recruit pick-up for IU and I know I hate it when these things happen on the Purdue side.

So, I apologize and you may return to your celebrating :P .
There have been enough topics about good IU recruits lately. Needed a fresh discussion topic.

Like I said, this is the biggest recruit Crean's got at IU so far. He's a big piece to the future successes of IU. Great pickup.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

"I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

Congrats to Yogi for selecting a great school, Coach Tom Crean for recruiting Yogi and a great 2012 class, and to all the fans that has seen the good and the bad. This is a very high note for IU and CTC.

Notice that Evil and DC hasn't posted? ;)
Dedicated,

I probably dislike "know it all Dan" as much if not more than anyone on the board as a poster.

I also know his personal situation and he is a great human being down deep. He has not responded because he is currently working. Some make fun of him for his job. I admire what he is doing and the reason he is doing it.

Life is odd and good for IU u have some talent coming in. Life has many more challenges than sports and family is alot more important.

That said

Have a great Holiday.

Thanks for that! I think most people on here are great human beings.

I actually like DC and Evil, they are both logical about the game and DC seems to have great insight on recruiting in general.

I was just trying to get my jab in to both of them while I can. ;) We all do that from time to time.

Honestly, DC can post on our side any time it is all in good fun.

Evil, no matter how hard some have tried, will never go away and has become a mainstay in the IU side of OHB. I find his hard head to be quite funny. ;)

Crean basicly started a program from scratch. But then again Porkchop would have had them in the 2nd round of the tourney already.
That sounds about right. He won about 16 games his first two years at Purdue (if you count the year he was under Keady) and made it to round 2 of the tourney his 3rd.

So 2nd round or bust should be easy for IU with Crean as a coach this year :)
Porkchop had more than 1 schloarship player (which was a former walkon) when he took the reigns at Purdue.

Purdue will continue to be good going forward, but your window as the best team in the state is about to slam shut.
