Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Not sure why there is a clamoring to fire him. 3-9, 5-7, 7-5. If he goes 9-3 next year no one in Michigan is going to be saying shit about getting a new coach.

0-6 vs MSU and OSU is not good for job stability when you are the head football coach at the University of Michigan. Lloyd Carr got fired after 11-2 and 9-4 seasons.
“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves."

That's true, but both those schools have head starts. Fact is they have been improving, and until they stop improving, I wouldn't get rid of him.

I certainly agree with you, but that's not usually how it works in Ann Arbor.

Getting the program an investigation due to their practice times and drawing an additional year of probation doesn't help his cause.

Plus the fact that everyone who knows him considers him to be a total douchebag....you know, the kind of guy who would cry and play Josh Groban in an effort to keep his job....doesn't help.

Wow. I feel awkward even reading about this. I wonder how hard some people had to fight back laughter.

LOL. Even Josh Groban is ripping on him for it:
"Coach Rodriguez, I'm very flattered but crying to You Raise Me Up is SO five years ago. #playwelcometothejungle"

Lloyd Carr didn't get fired by Michigan. He retired as coach and then worked for a couple of years as an associate A.D. A lot of Michigan people just wanted him fired because he went something like 1-6 against Tressel.
