Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I don't think he is a bad coach. Tough to win in the NFL without a QB, but going 1-7 at home is ridiculous.

Even tougher to win when you constantly play for field goals, which is my problem with him and his offensive coordinator. At least the coordinator is now gone...but I fear the influence of Sporano is still going to be there.

Have to keep in mind as well that the FA quarterback class is extremely week and they aren't going to get an impact QB where they draft....and both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams are set to be FA.

So what fell apart between the two of them?

I now hear that my 49ers are willing to pay more than 6 million a year. I'd think Stanford and San Fran are back to the favorites. What a roller coaster.

That is nuts...he better get a helluva insurance policy.
I am pretty sure the NCAA has an insurance policy that athletes in Luck's situation can buy into. I am not sure how it works, but i remember them talking about it with Sam Bradford.
Yeah, one common policy players try to get is admittance to Purdue's grad school.

Not quite...

I just wish this Harbaugh soap opera would end...it's like Cody Zeller, only I don't care as much.

Well, they did have great success the last time they hired a former Bears player. :P

I know they aren't really great options, but McNabb, VYoung, Bulger, Kolb, ASmith, Orton(I hope SF goes after him), Gradkowski/Campbell, Kitna, a DET QB, Josh Johnson, Delhomme, Derek Anderson just off the top of my head will probably be available either through FA or trades. If MIA wants to stick with the wildcat, they should probably go with Young. Bess and Fasano have some talent. Marshall is loaded with potential. Even if they let both RBs walk, they will still have a lot of options out there. You don't win that many games on the road in the NFL without being pretty good....the home record is just baffling.

LOL, this HAS to be an improvement....has to be.

I posted a link in the other thread where Miami now wants to give Sparano a 1 year extension. Could the Dolphins execs look any more foolish and downright pathetic right now?

And THAT is exactly why as a 49ers fan I have mixed feelings about this hire. NFL history ignorant IND fans calling Harbaugh Captain Comeback was a slap in the face to a guy who EARNED the nickname Roger Staubach. That season is where my hatred for IND, and most of their fans by default, came from.

First your city stole a franchise, then they tried stealing a nickname from a great QB and gave it to a 1 year wonder, and finally their GM whined like a baby who had his favorite toy taken away from him at competition committee meetings.
