Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

My final thought is that we're not just going to one day wake up and be a great team for 40 minutes. tonight was the closest we've been, especially in the defensive effort compartment. like i said, if you play like you play tonight all season (especially at home) you will get some W's.

Also 6 turnovers. bottom line: they hit more shots than us. gotta be happy when that's the final result, because that's something you can easily correct.
We get 6 turnovers and still lose. :banghead:

Again, at least 4 of them were from one player. ;)

You had to be at least encouraged by the game though, no? Crean did a good job of neutralizing their low post advantage, but in the end athleticism and bulk wins out more often than not. Hoffarber hit some crazy shots despite good D. Watford forced too many on the offensive end, but other than that I can't really find anything to nit pick. Definitely a great game from a hustle/energy level standpoint.

good - rivers and pritch's defense. sheeheehee played with some fire when he was in..

bad - jones needs to stop thinking he is the man...elston needs to learn some defense.....waford tonight...creek's shot is not good.....capo needs to quit and join Coach Wilson's team.

question's -

why didn't we play roth when they played that weak ass zone? he could have lit up some three's

also, why is it that when we are down and there is only a couple min left...jones lets the ball just roll the court? I understand the purpose of that but it does no good if our offense is standing around picking their undies out of their asscrack. While they are picking their asses we are holding the ball and wasting time...

i wonder if jeff howard can pick and roll, play fuckin defense...he can take capo's spot..hell hes on our roster...why dont we use his 6-9 ass.

Actually, we hit 1 more than them. Though we attempted more and shot a worse percentage.

Now, the Free Throw line is a different story.

i bundle free throws and field goals together. of course, cut the numbers in half for free throws.

Someone needs to explain to me how Hoffaberger got to the line 6 times and Watford didn't get there at all. Watford has gotten to the line in 15 games as much as Hoffaberger had in his freshman through junior years.

We lost but it was respectable. They were just too fucking big, and while the refs weren't horrible, they sure as fuck didn't do us any favors.

That was a shit call. Did we have any TOs left? I didn't look at the time. If so, that was a huge call if we could have came up with it and got a quick bucket or quick TO
