Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I love how some of you assume Coach Crean has ALL this extra time to develop EACH player individually until they're fine tuned to how you guys would like them to be.... to bad this is the real world, and that's not how it goes down....

Not only has Crean brought in back to back top 10 classes in this past offseason, he's got the team playing hard every fucking game.
I have said it is not only on Crean but the individual player as well. I just think Crean needs to hold him accountable and do something a little different than he has with him for 2 1/2 years and that is place him on the bench and give him a different perspective, attitude adjustment, motivation, focus, whatever but not let the guy think his starting and playing significant minutes is a sure thing.

Also, I wasn't quite aware that Crean brought in back to back top 10 classes. I know VJ's and TP's class wasn't top 10 and I know VO's and Sheehey's class wasn't top 10. So where is the back to back top 10 classes that he has brought in? Even next year's class isn't top 10 either, and they haven't arrived on campus yet, so he hasn't brought in anything until they are on campus. He hasn't brought in anyone yet. Until they sign a letter of intent, and arrive on campus, he hasn't brought in shit for top 10 classes.

mm yeah he's a little off on the top 10 class thing. crean only got the 2009 top 10 class because of recruiting ties he made at marquette. anyways, he's recruited well after that. the 2010 class was obviously underrated, though, but still not top 10.

I agree, he has recruited pretty decent after his first year. Matter of fact, if you include the possible incoming classes from the future, I give Crean an A. It is not an A+ because of the first year, which really wasn't his fault. But he did bring in guys like VAG, Dumbass, and Jobe. Pritchard and Roth wasn't his.
