Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I haven't seen hiom play enough, but he does have size but he may turn out like Pritchard. Even the names are similar. ;)

lol. he can actually hit a shot outside of 5 feet unlike tommy. he's not as bulky, but he's very mobile and agile for his size and a suburb rebounder. if we got him and zeller for next year our rebounding would improve drastically.

He does have the size and interior defense and rebounding will improve this team a lot. If Crean is OK with him, then I will be too. ;)

Here is another nice article on Pitchford from ITH. They somewhat break him down as far as his strength and weaknesses are. Also, there is a nice video at the end. Looks like he likes to shoot the three, which would not be a big deal if he can make it, but he most likely needs to play more down low on the blocks. Finally, if he commits to IU, would that hamper his development with him and Cody playing the same position or would one of them be turned into a 5 (center)? They both look like the same type of player to me.

He looks really athletic for 6'9". Decent looking jumper, but as always, it's a highlight video so I'm sure we're missing some bad shots, missed FTs, etc. Still, looks like he'd be a solid addition and help down low.

The kid seems pretty damn athletic and can certainly finish above the rim. I have read that he is a strong defender and rebounder, which is what IU desperately needs. I'm not a fan of him roaming around the perimeter, but he certainly has a nice shot. That can actually help spread the court more and open up the lane for some easier buckets.

Kind of looks like a lengthier Watford, but most likely plays better defense. ;)

If Crean can land him, he will be a welcome addition and him and Zeller could flip/flop each time down the floor, depending on who is guarding them, inside and out to help keep things open for driving and in the post.

Brum,

What was that attack about?

A thread with Iu fans saying they want the kid. I said I hope you get him and you attack.
