Mr. Freaking Awesome

I know he plays for BYU in a mid-con but the kid still has skills. I have seen a few of his games he put up 47 tonight with a missed dunk vs UTAH. Watching his playing he honestly has a decent quick shot, I wish this kid played in the big ten. I was however not impressed with his defense at all, reminded me of lutz... did not fight through screens enough and never trapped. anyways if you have not seen him take a look let us discuss. I'm actually hoping that Purdue draws him in the tourney. Purdue could contain him like they did Curry. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I've watched him play a few game the last two years and the kid can flat out score the basketball. |

They've started with all the Seinfeld "Jimmy" references. Great player but I'm sure I will learn to loathe him by the end of the year. |

I think he was trying to say that Purdue would match up well with BYU because Painter's teams can usually lock down teams with one major scorer, a la Stephen Curry two years ago. |

Hoosier Daddy?!

But didn't Kramer guard Curry? With him gone, who would guard Fredette? |

Lots of people were on him. He saw a lot of Jackson and Grant when he was playing the point. It was a team thing. I think this years team with Jackson, Barlow, and Moore could do a good job on a guy like Fredette. |
