Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,

Well, Michigan is shooting 25% and had 15 at the half. The Darius Morris show needs work. IU is playing well and the D is fine, but UM is having one of their infamous down games.

BTW, Novak has the new cheap shot de jour.

That is it. WOW, the best game played, excluding the 16 turnovers, that IU has had under coach TC and no game thread, except for the few posts.

VJIII had a good game, but still accounted for 25% (4) of IU's turnovers. That is why people overlook his poor defense, which was better tonight, and his turnovers when he scores like his does. But the problem is, he doesn't bring it every night. I just hope this is the game that turns his season around, but I am still not a fan. I might be if he can continue to play hard like he did tonight the rest of the season and next year.

Overall, it was a great game by IU and it was very enjoyable to watch. We are capable of this night in and night out, if we play this hard everytime. Not saying we would win all the time, but at least compete in games and possibly win, if we play this hard. To tell you the truth, it was the most enjoyable game to watch under CTC.

Very impressive win tonight! It would be a lift if Rivers could score 8 a game, but that's not gonna happen. Jones played well. Hopefully he can keep that going on both ends of the floor. Watford did awesome on the boards. But I'm gonna take this win as it is, a win against an average Michigan team at home. Although I did watch Michigan give Kansas all they wanted earlier this week. Still we should have beat them and we did. Props to coach Crean and staff for getting these kids ready to battle and stop feeling sorry for themselves.

24 points on 9 of 10 from the field, 4 assists, 4 rebounds...think it might warrant at least a two hour reprieve from bashing.

Couple points from the game....

Creek (I hope he's ok) just doesn't have it.

Jones played REALLY well tonight...and gasp, I even thought his defense was pretty solid.

Pritchard played much better as well. There were a couple of times that he even looked for the ball down low to make some offensive moves...I really liked seeing that.

It wasn't 4 minutes into the game, and it was obvious this was a different team than we've seen the last few times out. So much more enthusiasm from the get go...fantastic to see.

Hulls is a fucking assassin! Wowzers!

Watched it from recording and was very happy! Why haven't we been playing this hard the last four games. It was very clear that they came out playing with an intensity that we haven't seen yet in conference. Rivers looks like a new player and I love it that he is looking to score once in a while. Pritchard responded well to the start. VJ let the game come to him and didn't force anything. I know MI isn't a top tier team but IU holding any big ten team to 15 points at half is a definite huge improvement in defense. Hulls, wow, he is awesome. Whenever we need a big basket find him. Overall, though this was a team win! Just the way IU basketball is supposed to be. Hope this sparks some good play to come.
Side note, hope Creek is ok. Having just had knee surgery involving the kneecap myself, it is amazing to me that he is out there playing at all.

alright, first let me establish i'm very happy to have a win. but, the little bit of traffic regarding the game is way too positive if you ask me.

for one, nobody i should think ever doubted VJIII would have games like this, from an offensive standpoint. the danger, however, is that it becomes synonymous with a winning formula, which it is not.

second, rivers was the most influential player out there, hands down.

third, hated seeing how many upper classmen were involved from the get go. while on one hand it was great to see crean actually having imprinted upon them what has to be done in order to win, if this latest experiment doesn't hold with respect to next couple games then i want it dropped completely. it almost felt like it was 'one last call for who i wanted to step up from the beginning of the year' from crean.

forth, hulls should, if he doesn't already, have the green light to shoot whenever.

fifth, as somebody already alluded to, hope creek is alright...but really question whether he should have been out there at all this year. i've already said my peace on this...so i'll let it go with that.

sixth, and possibly most importantly, UM just stank the place up.

:goiu:

first one's always the hardest to come by...right?

OK, maybe you are right. I just want him to play like that all the time and maybe we can all forgive him on turnovers, because he is playing out of position. ;)

Panchen's first point said it best and I will just leave at that. Btown's comment doesn't even dignify a response.
