http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2011/01/vince-young-i-am--an-elite-quarterback-in-the-nfl/1 Vince Young: 'I am ... an elite quarterback in the NFL' Um....what? There are 3, maybe 4 "elite" quarterbacks in the NFL, and that's it......there's a fine line between confidence and insanity I guess....what side of that line if Vince on? |

I have a hard time seeing any team wanting Young to be their starting quarterback. He just isn't mature enough. A quarterback needs to be a leader and takes everything he does on the field seriously. Young has proven time and time again that he can't take the responsibility. He can keep proclaiming himself to be an "elite" quarterback if it will help him feel better. But I'm sure the majority of NFL owners will disagree with him. |

How the hell is he a 2x Pro Bowler. An attitude like that will get him nowhere. Good riddance, retard, enjoy the UFL or preferably unemployment. |

Jay Cutler >>> Vince Young And Cutler was probably the 6th or 7th best QB out of 8 left in the last round of the playoffs. That doesn't even include Brees and Rivers. VY is delusional. But I guess he has to think that. He'll never be successful aiming to be a mediocre QB. |

Even with the year that Rivers had, I still can't even consider him "elite". Manning, Brady, Brees, and possibly Rothlisberger. That's it right now IMO. Hell, even the next tier down is several levels above Young. Rodgers, Rivers, Ryan, Flacco, Vick I can even make a 3rd tier that's still above Young: Cutler, Eli, Schaub, Palmer |

Rodgers is creeping towards that top tier. And Carson Palmer doesn't belong on any QB list anymore. |

“He’s always been a guy — maybe to a fault — he would always try to do what I said. That seems like something simple in coaching, but those are the guys I hang my hat on. We’ve had some guys in our program, we had a couple guys that felt I had a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. And they were right — I do have a bias towards E’Twaun Moore. I like guys that go to class, that are academic All-Americans, that come early, that stay late, that love the game of basketball. I am biased towards those guys. And I’m biased towards Rob Hummel. But I’m also biased towards their habits, their work ethic, and how they carry themselves." "I’d take him to the ends of the earth — I’d want him playing for me.” - Bo Ryan on Robbie Hummel

I would most certainly have Big Ben, despite how much I dislike him, in the very top tier. As of right now, I would put him 2nd behind Brady. |

...to answer the question - YES!!! ...all joking aside, i truly believe that Vince Young has a mental disorder...when i hear him say things like this (to me) it is more sad than anything... Edited by enemydeservesnomercy, Jan 20 2011, 02:12 PM.

Because Ben isn't anywhere near Manning |

...they were talking about this on the radio yesterday...Rapistberger might get 3 SuperBowls before he is 30 years old...he is also 9-2 in the playoffs right now...of course the Steelers defense gets all of the credit but their defense has always been good and since they got Rapistberger the team has begun to win SuperBowls...they made some great points yesterday... |

Now in terms of a career, obviously not. However, if you're telling me I could have either QB for one game at this current point in time, I would take Big Ben...for instance, the SB. All he does is win, and he's clutch as hell. I guess I should back track a bit...if I could have one QB for a season, I would probably still take Manning (although it's very, very close IMO). |

If you're talking about ESPN radio, I heard it as well. I've heard that discussion thrown out there several times this year. It's nice to know that OHB produces at least one other person that isn't a Colts/Peyton Manning homer ;) |
