Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

Mike & Mike were discussing the top 5 QBs in the NFL right now, and they ended up coming up with more than 5...it's a pretty interesting debate, so I thought I would pose the question on here.

*NOTE* You can pick 5 on this poll.

The body knows what fighters don't: how to protect itself. A neck can only twist so far. Twist it just a hair more and the body says, "Hey, I'll take it from here because you obviously don't know what you're doing... Lie down now, rest, and we'll talk about this when you regain your senses." It's called the knockout mechanism.

He's not a top 5 QB to begin with, but he should be an option for the crazies...especially if guys like Sanchez, Orton, and McNabb are included.

Probably closer to 50% to me. Regardless, a top-5 QB he's not, especially with his durability issues.

He had one really good year; let's not go crazy.

Brady, Manning, Brees, Rivers, and Rodgers, not in that order.

I will preface by saying those were the hardest two for me to pick, and I like Rivers better.

With that being said, their numbers are very similar. I can't overstate how big of an advantage I give to McCarthy over Norv Turner though. Turner has proven time and time again that he's not an elite head coach in the National Football League. Additionally, Green Bay the last couple of years has probably had the best receiving corps in the league.

I know the ring is important, but given their respective situations, I think Philip is slightly ahead of him.

1 a) Manning
b)brady
3 Brees
4 Rodgers
5 Ryan (I think he has all the tools and personality to be the number 1 in the league after brady and manning are out) you take that out and I'd have to say Rivers.
