Welcome to Our Hoosier Board!

Most of the posters here have been around for nearly a decade now. You'll find their knowledge and insight to be second to none. We have a really strong community and value everyone's opinions.

Feel free to jump into any thread and voice your opinion with conviction. We love heated debates and even some fanbase ribbing from time to time. We pride ourselves on the lack of moderation needed to make this board successful.

Please remember that we have been around many years and have an astute ability to tell the difference between an immature, childish, trash-talking troll and a passionate fan voicing his or her opinion. It is at the discretion of Jazen and myself whether any moderating actions should be taken at any given time. It's a very, very rare thing. In other words, no worries....you'll be fine!

Cheers,
sirbrianwilson

I recently had a coworker that decided that his only option in life was to end his own at only 28. It was over a girl that rejected his proposal. Now he leaves behind a beautiful daughter, both parents, and many friends that cared about him.

If any of you ever have any issues that make you think about doing this, please seek help from someone. Many people don't realize how many people actually care about them, and how there act will affect everyone that knows him and in this case a daughter that will never get to know her father.

Please before you bring yourself to attempt suicide seek help. There is always a better answer than suicide

Sorry for your loss.

I've lost about 5 friends in the past 3 years to suicide. Obviously, well too young to waste away. A couple were like brothers to me, hell this time of year was our time to shine. But I get it man. I see how people can get that low, be it an addiction, or being alone for too long. Once your brain commits, it's tough to stop them.

Most don't give warning signs if they're serious about it. If they aren't, they want attention, but definitely GIVE that attention because you never know. Unfortunately indy, you and I didn't have that option and it's sickening. I feel so bad for the families I know that have to live through that, and better believe it effects everyone. That was not God's intention for humanity. Self destruction is pitiful, and though I love my friends til I die, I am against it by faith. I pray for those that have, pray for their good souls... but unfortunately there are consequences for forfeiting life I'm afraid.

Get help if you need it. I had to start getting help from my doctor myself because of the drama not only at home in my personal life I've dealt with but because I've lost some close buddies over things I can't even put a finger on til this day. Pictures and videos are all we're left with. It's all about communication and family. Stay close knit. I have a small family, I have a duty to carry on my last name and I'm going to take up that challenge head on. We're mammals like the animals we own, we have to be here for our young.

Suicide is a real epidemic in these hard times, and ladies and gentlemen, Money (simply PAPER), and a girl or boy... are NOT worth the great years in your life you lived before that. With that, I'm out. I'm here for any of you on board here. My good hearts taken a beating through the years, but I'm a very good listener and aid, so feel free to PM.
